Why Couldn’t Unions Defeat Michigan Anti-Union Bill?

December 12, 2012

This video is re-posted from The Real News Network.screen_shot_2012-11-23_at_4.39.24_pm

The Real News Network looks at the Right to Work Legislation in Michigan and the attack on unions across the country. They interview Jane Mcalevey, author of the book Raising Expectations (and Raising Hell): My Decade Fighting for the Labor Movement.

In this interview Macalevey addresses the concerted effort to undermine labor unions in recent decades by the Capitalist class. She does acknowledge the failures of the union movement and offers up some suggestions of what they should be doing that might turn the tide against anti-union sentiment and the highly organized campaign to suppress unions.

Because the majority of people in Michigan support the bill, and no longer bow to the will of anti-democratic thugs.

    2) Because Unions have turned extremely violent as exemplified by their behavior yesterday where they tore down a tent that had people inside, called for civil war, ruined a hot dog vendor’s cart while calling him the N-word and Uncle Tom, and punching an man unprovoked.

All of which I should remind you have not been reported on by you ONCE.

No one wants to be part of such a disgusting group of losers, and that is why people are more and more turned off by Big Union.

My aunt Lucinda felt much as you do. And she should know. Once she was involved with a pack of union members and they stole all her slaves. She was so distressed she was unable to lift a finger to help the poor and disheveled who came to her church to pray and then be healed before the annual spam lunch for the poor. We felt bad, but we had to run down to the station to rescue our son who had just fallen astray and had nothing better to do than to find small blogs to deride because he was probably the most wounded animal in the forest. He did love to drink that water from the fracking well! Said the bubbles made him horny in his dreams. Other than that he just couldn’t get his bread to rise. Maybe you’ve met him? He hangs out at the local pub with the rest of the losers who make it their business to call other people losers. Lucinda, alas, passed on last year when she was trampled under the crowds of tea partiers whose homes were sequestered by the local lords and ladies who wished to make them completely beholden to their bathroom habits. But then you know that. I can tell you are very familiar with spewing from the loins and various other orifices.

Good luck! Toodle loo in the loo! Brush off your knees next time and no one will ever know whom you knelt before.

And i bet you actually sat there and said to yourself that that made total sense.

Even though in the tape you CLEARLY see the union thugs surround the tent, shout “TAKE IT DOWN” and then clearly see them do just that, having to be moved away from it in order for the people inside could get out.

But you really sat there like a total idiot and said the Koch’s paid some people to do it.

Exactly why do you have to resort to literally lying in order to cover for these people’s bad behavior? Do you think that trying to cover-up for this behavior is somehow making your side look better?

“My aunt Lucinda felt much as you do. And she should know. Once she was involved with a pack of union members and they stole all her slaves.”

Again the leftists have to try to play the race card in order to try to dodge the subject.

It’s like you sit around all day and just see nothing but black skin and slaves. And you have the nerve to say that other people are the racists?

but Gridcheck, my aunt Lucinda was from India. Her slaves were all white chicks from Dubuque who were kidnapped off the street by a spooky guy who voted for Reagan and still does… when he’s not scraping dung off the shoes of the wealthy and smiling, waiting for crumbs from their mumbly lips as they steal our water and our air. It is my experience that white fellas like my cousin Ernie (and you! be proud!) could say Yessuh Yessuh with the best of ’em… in the annal (or anals, you choose) of time slaves were are multi-colored as your delusions…. you is the one who put the black in the skin of the slave we is talkin about…. not Lucinda! Happy Chanookah baby… who da slave? you is the slave now aintcha? Aint no one else here kissin rich posterior….

Man your consistent for sure, when the cops pepper spray civil peotesters your right there calln authoritarianism out, divorcing allegiance to any state employe who suppress the 1st amendment. At least if some real humans tore something down they did it themselves and didn’t hide behind the seeming legitimacy of a uniformed moron, shiting on his oath to defend the constitution. Devos and his family want your (OK real Republicans) guns, and are enslaving you to financial oligarchy. Be about some real shit, GOP establishment fanboying is so 2009. Fuck the pseudo aristocracy! Peace love and half assed radicalism.
