Racial Graduation Gaps at Michigan Public Universities

There is a 22-percent gap between white and black graduation rates atMichiganpublic universities – significantly wider than the national public university racial gap of 16 percent. Wayne State University has the largest racial graduation gap in the state, and the largest in the nation among public universities.

Is the world really only black and white? Is this reality?
I don’t think that the post is meant to communicate that the world is only black and white. The numbers reflect racial disparities in graduation rates at Public universities in Michigan. If you look at racial disparities in who owns property, K-12 schools, who is in jail/prison, poverty rates, health issues……you will see similar numbers. I posted the data because it is relevant and because there is institutional racism in this state and this country in my opinion.
