Crises of Capitalism Animated
July 4, 2010
In this RSA Animate, radical sociologist David Harvey asks if it is time to look beyond capitalism towards a new social order that would allow us to live within a system that really could be responsible, just, and humane?
This is based on a lecture at the RSA (www.theRSA.org).

Great video, liked how he tied everything together.
Wages have diminished for all of us on the bottom. During the late sixties the minimum wage when adjusted for the rate of inflation was approximately $10 per hour.
One of the ways labor unions have been diminshed is two tier contracts. Johnny come lately to the union shop gets screwed over in labor contracts. New guy is angry at the guys with seniority who voted for the contract. Divide and conquer, two tier contracts were invented by some capitalist think tank.
